Hauppauge HVR-900 No Video

Hi all

I have managed to find a range of channels using the scanner (when the channel was found it was displayed in the preview window)


My EPG has been updated with the programme information etc however when i go to watch a programme i get a split second of audio then the screen in blank with no video

Any help would be greatly appreciated

EDIT - Now the software is telling me that the signal strength is not strong enough. both the quality and strength bars are emtpy. This should not be the case as the antenna is external and is usually connected to a digital set top box which recieves all channels without any problems.

Did you install a mpeg decoder? It'll be on your hauppauge-cd otherwise you can download it from the hauppauge site.

Do you think its possible to use the IR from another TV Card (Lifeview Prime 30) to control GB-PVR?
