Hi all

I just got a Freecom Hybrid stick, just tried the last 3 days following every guide and thread on this site to get it to work with gbpvr, but still no joy!

I ended up installing Blaze to test the drivers etc. and that works fine!

I've done all the uninstalling/installing bit, changed usb ports, edited the bda.ini and still gbpvr wont see my freecom.

Anyone got any other ideas short of a full format? Or will the Hybrid just not work?

PS using the BDA00008584 from freecom. Card dated May2006

I believe because the DVB-T & Analog TV USB STICK your using only has MPEG-II software decoding, it won't work with GBPVR.

Can you run the filtercheck utility, then zip and attach the resulting filtercheck.log? http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=1...ostcount=6

Try adding the following to bda.ini

[Freecom DVB type5]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER=Freecom Digital TV Receiver
FILTER_CAPTURE=Freecom Digital TV Video
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=Input0
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=Output1

Freecom need to get there act together and decide what names they're going to give their filters rather than changing them with each and every release.
