Pretty much, but the transcoder isnt designed to work with files that are still growing, so the directshow components it uses tends to stop when the end of the file is reached.

But thats only a question of startup delay, isn't it? How ever, if you need a hardcore beta tester for this feature, i'm you man Wink

Transcoding occurs much much faster than real time though, so you'd tend to hit the end of the file almost instantly if its just started recording.

That's why i suggested to use a ringbuffer in memory. Should always be fast enough when fed in time. Doesn't get disturbed by harddrive delay or multiple access...
