I run a 16:10 monitor, native LCD res. at 1680x1050, and although I know there is a option to change your TV size to only 16:9, I'd like to know if there is a way to change the GB-PVR when it lauches to match my desktop res. (of 1680x1050) , not unlike what Windows MCE does.
If possible, what file to edit with a XML editor, etc.
Thanks!

Thats just the way it works. It ignores the PC's resolution entirely.

GB-PVR does things in relative ratios, with 0,0 being the top left and 1,1 being the bottom right. If using the 16:9 setting with your 16:10 screen bothers you, then you can always set it to 16:9 in the config app, then tweak the <AspectRatioModes> settings in config.xml to contain the ratios that would be correct for a 16:10 shape screen.

ah I see. I think its great , I was just curious so I could make the changes, thats all. The ratio doesnt bother me, its just with LCD monitors, when you are NOT running the native res. the EQ suffers a bit , (depending on variables) so if I was able to change it, I would , thats all. But if the XML file tweaks would effect the res. then I'll let it be.

Remember GB-PVR never changes the resolution though, so assuming you're running your desktop on the LCD at its native resolution, then when you start GB-PVR it'll still be running its native resolution.
