HI, Just wondering if I can use my IR remote control that came with The USB Digi Receiver. If not. Can I buy a remote that works with GB-PVR, If so what is the best.
PS, I`m using XP, not MCE

Thanks

Pete

short answer1: most probably not with native GBPVR support.
short answer2: might work, might also not work.

which usb tuner do you have, try to give as detailed information as possible, else every other aswer requires a look in the scrying glass (that's currently a bit blurred Wink)

FYI, you don't need to have MCE to use an MCE remote. You can find those on eBay cheap.

it wont work with native support
you'll have to check your manual or the installation of their software if there is a remote application & if you could use it to simulate the keyboard (send keys to another app)

I use a Logitech Harmony 880 remote with my setup, but it uses the IR port on my Hauppauge Nova-S Plus. You might wanna conisder it. It's a beautiful thing.
