Need Help installing GBPVR on my notebook

I was able to do a complete scan after adding only channels with names I got a picture no sound though. After checking settings aagin I received sound. One question, I seem to have duplication channels listings some are active on only 1 channel, some on both, some only picture no sound on one or the other. Don't know if this has anything to do with my settings.
Also another question, it seems that the guide is not listing programming info.
Is this because i'm watching HDTV Cable QAM channels ? I think I was told that cable TV currenly doesn't send HDTV Cable TV info, is this the reason I'm getting no programing info. ? I wasn't sure if it comes in another way though.
