I've recently installed a second capture device in my PC, and tonight was the first time I've tried to record 2 programmes at once. When I checked the PC after the recordings were finshed there was a message box on screen (which I didn't pay much attention to - duh! Smile ) saying something like "NT Debug", but clicking OK just cleared it. When I went to play back the recordings, both were scheduled at 20:00 but started at 20:31.

Both capture devices have been tested, and work on their own, and recordings made after the 20:00 ones seem fine. I'm using the latest version of GBPVR - 0.99.5.

I made this post because the recording service log file has lots of Exception errors like the one below, and I'm hoping sub can shed some light on them!

Code:
01/02/2007 20:22:15.593    ERROR    [6]    Caught unexpected exception: System.Data.OleDb.OleDbException: Could not use ''; file already in use.

Relevant log file is attatched.

Thanks for any help Smile

It was some error relating to MS Access. Try running the ChangeDatabase utility to switch to SQLite, which is what most people use these days.

Thanks sub - I'll give SQLite a try.

Do you think the error was related to me attempting 2 simultaneous recordings for the first time, or just coincidence?

Fair enough Smile I've converted to SQLite now, so we'll see what happens!

I tried 2 simultaneous test recordings after conversion and they both worked, which is a good sign.
