My pvr150 came with a Hauppauge MCE remote. I used it semi-happily for awhile, but was constantly annoyed with not having the color buttons, and issues I was having with hip...
So I bought Microsoft MCE remote version 1, as it is supposed to be natively supported (got it on ebay for <$10, because it didn't come with a beanbag. This was ok because I already have one).
Now I'm trying to make it work...
When I have HIP open, I can use all the VERY standard buttons, but not the channel buttons, color buttons, guide, livetv, etc... (this is the same limit my old remote had, except it didn't even have color buttons. I could fix all the other buttons on my old remote by re-mapping all the keys in hip after rebooting my computer. Haven't done this yet with this remote because I don't want to use hip at all).
When I turn HIP off, GBPVR doesn't respond at all...
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
-Connor
