Hi!
I'm beta-testing microsoft's new "windows home server". Today I removed the original harddrive from my gbpvr-serverpc, installed a new harddrive and installed WHS, the hauppuage software and restored my gbpvr-directory. As far as i tested until now everythings works ok. But WHS is in english. I changed the regional settings to Netherlands/dutch but the date and time on the skin-screens stay in american format m/dd/year and the time in 12hrsAM/PM. How can I change them?
Regards!

You can change it in the registry at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International\sShortDate

I havnt looked into it, but I'm sure there'll be some other registry setting in there somewhere that holds the time format - maybe not in that registry key though.

Sorry folks.... Windows Home Server and GBPVR doesn't work on my system at the moment. Don't know where the problem is yet. WinTV2k looks like te run stable. The skystar2 card looks like to run stable. But... all with their own viewer-software! However.. When used via gbpvr the entire system locks after a while. Some more / some less minutes. Switching the computer off is the only thing that works after. Note: when installing the middleware-software from Hauppauge the install-program warns very often that the OS is not yet supported... Maybe that's the problem... Since I cannot miss the gbpvr-server too long I had to pause testing. To be continued!

ps. changing the date/time in the register did not work here. the values in the register were as the shoud be. To be continued too!
Regards!

New results!

Today I reinstalled all software. I only installed the pvr150 softwarepack; but the pvr250 and pvr350 seem to work now too. The only reproduce-able problem sofar execept the date/time-format is live-tv or play a program that is being recorded. The entire pc hangs and the only way oout is to switch off. I'm working on it! To be continued!
Regards!

In my system GBPVR uses the date-/time-format as defined in:
hkey_users\.default\control panel\international

I copied the settings from hkey_current_user\control panel\international and now gbpvr uses the correct settings.
Regards!
