Nothing else does. But heres the issue. installs without any indication of trouble. the config goes fairly smoothly, to include the epg channel download. However, the application itself isn't talking to the config. it keeps telling me that no epg is setup. any clues?

One vista user found they had to delete a copy of gbpvr.db3 that Vista had created under their My Documents directory LocalStore or VirtualStore directory or something like that (cant remember the exact path). This sounds like the same thing as you're seeing.

I've got the exact same problem. Programs install fine, config runs fine, go to run and it appears that GBPVR doesn't read the config information from gbpvr.db3...

Tried this and it didn't work... the config re-wrote the file, but the program still isn't getting information from it.

I'm glad it's not just me with this problem, I've been playing with it for a couple of days now and haven't been able to figure it out.

When you run the config app, does it tell you it needs to run as administrator? It should, which should ultimately lead to the file being created in the correct directory.

No it doesn't. Never did. Installed and Un a couple of times with the same results. Set up as a single user with no passwords. How do I check to see where its putting it?

I've just installed it on Vista here, and it all went smoothly for me.

It should prompt you to that it needs to run the config app run as administrator. Thats working fine on my Vista box. I'm not sure why it didnt for you.

I'm fairly sure you can right click on the config app and tell it to run as administrator. Doing this might help on your setup since its not doing it automatically.

Thats it!! The issue is at my end now. (well, it always was anyway). Have to open it from the program files folder directly every time with the whole rght click/admin thing.(the planted start menu icons do not give this option) To open it just by lft clicking an icon gives the same failed results. Thats with the config and the app its self. I still will tweak and toy with it, however the initial problem has been found. Thanks
