I have DirecTV and my receiver box is in the room next to my PC. The DirecTV box model is a D11 standard box. I have a ATI TV Wonder Pro Tuner with(Philips 1236 MKS) Card. I am using the WMD Driver and in settings it does show my ATI Card. The problem is when I start gbpvr it will only show the channel set on the direcTV box. When i hit the + or - sign to change channels it will not. The channel numbers change but it stays on whatever program is there. My ATI TV program is acting the same now also... With my ATI TV software i use to be able to use my direct tv remote with an IR sender and receiver (one in each room) to change the channels in ATI. Problem is ATI cant record programs so i wanted to which to gbpvr....Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as i have been trying to get this part to work for 2 days now..... Thanks Sad

The sounds normal to me. When you're using a DirectTV receiver connected to a capture card, the capture card will only ever be able to tune in the channel the receiver is current set to.

With the addition of an IR Blaster to your setup, GB-PVR will be able to tell the DirecTV receiver to change channels whenever it needs to.

I was able to get the IR sender and receiver to work changing the channels... Thanks for the link to the thread.. But i also noticed u had a problem with zap2it tv guide. My question is when i go through and select all channels for my directv guide from channel 2 to 900 when it imports the channels they are correct but start at channel 70 and up... The channel numbers below 70 arent there but i can view them if i change to say 21 the show is there and correct but the guide starts at 70 and goes to 900... Have any ideas how i can get zap2it guide to start at channel 2 after doing an EPG update when its selected??? Thanks for any help!!!! Sad

If you have duplicate channels, GB-PVR will only list the one with the higher number one. You'll find these lower channels are list somewhere else in the channel lineup.

Log into http://labs.zap2it.com and check your channel lineup. Find one of the channels missing and search that webpage for a channel with the same name.

If you cant find it, PM me you zap2it username and password and I'll take a look for you.

I logged into http://labs.zap2it.com and looked at your channel lineup. You have KWGN on channel 2 and 909, so only 909 is shown. KOAA on 5 and 903, so only 903 is shown. KTSC on 8 and 904, so only 904 is shown etc...

You need remove all the higher duplicates from your zap2it lineup if you want it to use the lower numbers. After doing this, drop your capture source and recreate it in GB-PVR, then it should be fine. I'm not a DirecTV user, but I'm guessing this means disabling all the 9xx range channels in your channel lineup on the zap2it site.
