I haven't seen anything like this so please point me in it's direction if it is there either by design or with plugins. But I'd like to see a system where I can tell GB PVR which recurring shows are more important to me than others.

For example, say I have Lost set up to tape (which I do) and I space out and forget it and set something else to tape in it's time slot I'd like to be able to tell GB PVR that Lost is more important to me and it should ignore the new recording.

So I set Show A as the most important show, then Show B and so on so if there are any conflicts between shows I've got recurring GBPVR will know which one I want more.

Also I'd like a warning to pop up when I set a recording telling me of any potential conflicts, instead of having to go in to the conflicts screen.

I'd like a progress bar when I set a recording. Right now it just sits there and I don't know if it's going to be frozen for 10 seconds or 2 minutes. A Progress Bar would at least show me how far along GBPVR is in setting up all the upcoming recordings.

tape? dont say tape Big Grin Lets call it a recording.

The Recording screen's Reoccurring list shows the priority. Those at the top are the highest priority. You can change the priority of a show by selecting it then pressing FF/RW (Ctrl-F, Ctrl-D).

If you try to schedule a recording from the TV Guide at the same time as a recording is already scheduled, then it'll popup a box exactly like you suggest forcing you to resolve it.

If a conflict occurs automatically as a result of season recordings, then its listed on the conflicts list in the Recordings screen. You can either go there and resolve it - or ignore it if you're happy with the priorities you've set.

You like a mortal enemy of tapes or something?

Ok, I didn't even know about the FF/RW thing. Thanks.
