MVP / GBPVR crash after watching television

I have noticed some other people suffer from this from time to time:

Probably about half the time after watching TV using MVP the MVP will crash when TV is stopped. By crash, I mean it will not go back to the TV Guide instead I get Connecting To Servers .......

After a brief delay the GBPVR home screen will come up again.

I include the logs which shows a connection forcibly closed error in file MVP-gbpvr.exe-1.log:
MVP Timer Refresh error: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host
2007-03-09 09:23:00.046 ERROR [10] at System.Net.Sockets.Socket.Send(Byte[] buffer, Int32 offset, Int32 size, SocketFlags socketFlags)

I am not sure I believe this totally tho' as I have noticed GBPVR.exe restarting when this happens making me think it is a gbpvr issue rather than a network config issue ?

Whilst I am at it.....

I start my MVP after a hard reset by using the Happauge MVP servers.
1. Plug In MVP.
2. Start Hauppauge MediaMVP services
3. Wait till MVP loads Happauge Main Screen.
4. Stop Hauppauge MediaMVP servers.
5. Restart GBPVR Recording service
6. MVP will now connect to servers and load up gbpvr interface.

What took me a while to realise is that if you start the MVP in this manner the dongle in Gbpvr/dongle is not used. The dongle from Happauge MediaMVP/Hardware is used.
Now I have got rid of that ugly yellow bar when playing recordings / watching tv :->

Upgraded from 99.05 to 99.12 and copied dongle from GBPVR/dongle to Hauppaugge/hardware directories as above. Rebooted MVP......

Worked all weekend without MVP crashing Smile

I got disconnect occassionally while using MVP; however, since I have two servers auto start, it takes less time to reconnect while the other once spawn a new mvp server.
