I'm having a problem with getting GB-PVR to work.
My TV card is a Terratec Cinergy 2400i DT, and it works ok with other HTPC software. I have installed the BDA driver, and I'm (trying) to run version v0.99.12. The program have found the available DVB-T channels, and I've got the EPG to too. When trying to run Live-TV, all I get is a black screen. Nothing happens when trying to change channel, or selecting a program from the EPG window.

I can't find more things to try to setup, so I really would like some help from anyone. I have attached the log files, hope they are helpful.

Thank you
Thomas - Denmark

What MPEG video decoder do you have selected in the config app's playback tab? If its set to 'system default' then try explicitly selecting one of the decoders. If you dont have any listed, then install an MPEG2 decoder.

Thank you for quick feedback.. Smile
I have installed VLC media player on my computer now. In GB-PVR I can´t choose anything but "system default", and pushing the button "Video Decoder Settings" doesn't seem to work..?

Other suggestions?

This is because you dont have any MPEG2 decoders installed. VLC does not install any Directshow MPEG2 decoders - it does have the embedded ability to play MPEG2 files, but it does not install decoders that are available to other applications running on the machine.

Try the decoder from: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/MPV_Decoder.htm

dscaler is another free one that works well. You can install more than one if you want and pick what works the best in your system.

search for "scaler 5 decoder"

I installed the scaler 5 decoder, and now GB-PVR is working fine - as far as i can see....

Now I have a new problem: subtitles. I can't choose danish subtitles, only english is available - both for primary and secondary language (in the system menu). I have been through everything in config, but I can't find anything.
Do I ned some kind of plug-in, or what is wrong?

What type of subtitles are you talking about? DVD, teletext, DVB? Live tv, play back of video files, DVD?

Sorry about the unclear description. It's subtitles in DVB-T LiveTV I have problems with. I haven't tried any other, so I don't know if there is other problems.
