Hi

Anyone care to shed light on where the record start times etc for GBPVR are stored and what database will open and edit the file.

To get round the problem I am having with none use of multiple tuners, I would like to schedule recordings via the EPG, but get at the start times in the database to manually ensure that the recording will use a spare tuner.

In the GBPVR directory is a file named gbpvr.db3, which is a sqlite3 database. You can get binaries suitable for accessing and manipulating this database -- which is embedded -- at sqlite's website. Knowledge of SQL is required. Pending recordings, recurring entries, and already-recorded information should all be stored in the RECORDING_SCHEDULE table, as far as I know.

Guide data itself should be in PROGRAMME.

Not sure if it's exactly what you want but you might want to look at CDK Scheduler. You can assign priorities and tuners etc. It's distribted as part of the XRecord suite but still has an old page on the wiki.
