Since you say you have two tuners in your PC, I assume you do record TV shows for later viewing. If you watch these recorded TV shows with WMP11, rather than GBPVR, then I'd say yes, you've (totally) missed how GBPVR really works. Wink

Why? I mean in theory (not that I would, as I use GB-PVR on a TV and the interface looks like it was designed for it, as opposed to WMP[9,10,11]), one could use GB-PVR as a "recording engine", use only the EWA as the interface to schedule and delete recordings, and use WMP to watch (either the stream or directly from the file system).
* Rogers Analog Cable [Canada]
* Hauppauge WintTV PVR USB2
* IBM Thinkpad T42 / 1GB Mem / Centrino 1.6Ghz / 60GB HD / ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 + VGA/DVI out
* MCE Remote + Keyboard
* Win XP SP2 / GBPVR [Latest version. always]
* Pioneer HDTV via VGA (1360x768)
* MS Remote Keyboard
* Logitech Harmony 880 [via MS Remote Control Reciever]

This is exactly how I do it, but use VLC instead of WMPWink with the files straight from a network share or ocassionally I'll playback through the MVP.

Can WMP.X and VLC do comskip? That feature alone will make me stick with GBPVR. Smile
