I know this has been explained multiple times, I just can't seem to put my hand on a thread for those of us that understand about 10% of what is being discussed in this forum. I have no problems with recording and playing from one gbpvr machine on a MVP. I have no problems getting to photo files and music. I also don't have any problems getting to my home movies (which is what the wife wants me to get working) the problem is that the stream is jittery. Is there a step by step how to that will help me get this cleaned up? I have the videos on a pc that isn't my gbprv machine but it doesn't seem to make any difference if I move a movie file to the other machine. It plays the same., jittery. Can someone point me to an understandable fix? thanks in advance.

What type of file is it that causes a problem?

I was thinking it was an mpeg2 file, but you know I'm really not sure. It is a file from a sony HD video camera. Hasn't been altered. After you asked the question, I ended up trying to stream the video to Windows Medial Player on a networked pc and it appers that the problem appears there as well (maybe not as bad) any ideas?

Its probably a DV AVI file. Unfortunately, its not really a file type I know much about, so I dont really have any advice to offer. Sorry.
