Hi,

I have been using GB-PVR (several versions, now the latest) successfully for a while now. There are just a couple of issues I was wondering if anyone could help with.

I have a NF2 board with a GF6200 graphics card. I have the system going into S4 (Hibernate) after recordings (S3 wasn't as reliable + S4 is better all round). When I resume from hibernate, all video (pre-recorded and live) is extemely jerky- I need to close GB-PVR and the application.

Also, on occasions, video plays back at below 25fps, so is very flickery- this can be resolved by pausing and restarting the show a few times.

Additional info- I am using 92:91 drivers (these reduce the symptoms a little), VRM9 overlay (best image quality + solves a couple of other issues) with an AC3 codec and possibly Cyberlink decoder with Freecom V1 USB stick.

Any tips would be appreciated- sorry if I missed solutions in other posts!

I'm guessing it relates to your video card's drivers. Try a different version.

Cheers sub...thanks for all your work!

Tried a few of the recent releases, just wondering if my particular issues rang a bell with anyone.
Problem is, my GBPVR PC is too busy recording for tweaking :p

Just in case anyone else experiences these issues, it seems to be the Cyberlink decoder I was using. I have just bought Nvidia Purevideo Gold, which has solved all the problems.
If I set everything to overlay mode, I get rich colours and an extremely clear picture (all that adaptive de-interlacing)- considering my graphics card is a £21 GF6200 AGP, I feel I have a very good result for very little cash.

Setting everthing to VRM9 causes a washed out image and seems to cause GBPVR to become unstable, but I am pretty happy with overlay for now.

I reported the 'everything jerky after hibernate resumption' issue a while back too. I'm also on a 6200 and VMR9.

In the latest release I have to restart GBPVR every time it looses focus or hibernates anyway as the new fullscreen VMR9 doesn't recover (just looking for a thread to post that in Smile.
GBPVR System:
XP Pro SP2, AMD XP1800+, 512MB DDR, NVidia 6200 AGP (1.90.62 drivers), PVR-150 (2.0.43.24108 drivers), nVidia Purevideo Mpeg2 codec, PVRX2 1.4.7
