HVR 1600 Analog help

Hi everyone,

Having a problem with the HVR 1600. I have ATSC working, but I can't get the analog working.

Since I installed the 1600 this morning, when I check the "only show devices detected in this machine", GBPVR is now showing HVR 1600 Analog, HVR 1500MCE Analog, and the PVR150 (the other card in the machine) in the config app. I've tried to setup the 1600 analog and 1500MCE analog, but I get a blank black screen in GBPVR for both. I also tried the tuning assistant, it works with the 1600, so I'm not sure why I can't get it to work in GBPVR.

Using 99.5 right now, I'll be upgrading to 99.12 this afternoon to try to solve the problem. I've attached the logs. TIA!

Well, the upgrade to 99.12 didn't make any difference. I know the card is working, courtesy of the tuning assistant. Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

What do you have your deinterlacing settting set to on the misc tab of the config app? It should be set to 'encoder pass through'.

It was, and always has been, set to none. I don't remember changing it anytime in the past, but who knows. I changed it to encoder pass through and it is working! Thanks!

BTW, the none setting worked on the PVR150MCE, and the PVR350 that I just took out of the machine. It wasn't a problem until I put in the HVR 1600.

Its always set to 'encoder pass through' for all installs, so you must have changed it at some stage in the past. Anyway, I'm glad to hear you got it working.
