Error messsage: Symantec Tamper Protection alert

Just wonder does anyone the error message below?

It means the Symantec software is incorrectly thinking GB-PVR is doing something. You'll need to configure the Symantec to stop report this as a problem.

What version of Symantec are you running? Corp or consumer?

I'm running SAV and have not seen your error.

I'm using the Corp version 10. I did not realize the error until I checked the Event Viewer. Could it be from some of GB-PVR plugins I use?

I have been using GB-PVR for almost a year and I love it, but this error message start worry me

I couldnt tell you what other plugins are doing, but GB-PVR itself isnt doing anything you'd need to worry about. I'd guess its just some false triggering, when nothing exciting has really happened.

Given the error message, it sounds like its just trying to alert you to the fact GBPVR.exe has launched some external process. There is lots of situations that GB-PVR does this (running ffmpeg.exe, running PostProcessing.bat, running UpdateEPG.bat, etc....), and not something to worry about.

Yea, I wouldn't worry about it. I get about a billion of those messages in my Event Viewer from SAV because it claims Virtual PC is trying to mess with it. As long as the program in the error is legit, ignore it. There are some other legit programs that cause this problem as well with SAV.

I run Corporate 10 as well and never see this message, but I don't leave the server logged on. I echo everyone elses response. I wouldn't worry about it.
