GBPVR + Motorola RG2200

I explored using GBPVR as my PVR software well over a year ago, however, I ran into one severe show stopper: the IR codes for my set top box. I have a Motorola (formerly Next Level Communications) RG2200. As a stop gap measure (and to keep the wife happy), I used Tivo, with the hopes my IR code woes would be solved a year on.

Sadly, my card manufacturer (Hauppauge PVR 150) still doesn't have IR codes for my set top box.

Can anyone suggest a work around or some equivalent codes for my set top box? I've researched it heavily, and have only found that Tivo has the codes, and I'd rather not stay with Tivo. I would like to make GBPVR my PVR again.

I'm fairly sure there was a newer version of the Hauppauge IR Blaster software that let you learn the IR signals from your original remote.

Oh really? That changes things considerably. I'll dust off the old box and load up the latest and greatest from GBPVR and give it a try again.
