When I lived in Japan, I was active on a BBS (remember those) which dealt with english Windows. I understand how one would not want to be pigeon holed into a OS, TV format, or even culture.

Ubu is right. It not that complicated. Give everyone access to the IP addess that currently only the moderators have, and we can dig and find a location if we think it's important.

Yeah someone can spoof, but that will only hurt them in the end...

Of course a geologist or geographer would some how connect NZ to Australia, but I'm sure sub has made the Kiwi a continent all by itself

When did the continent get renamed "Australia"? I seem to remember that, when I was a kid learning Geography, there was a continent called "Australasia" which contained Australia, New Zealand (and maybe some islands like Fiji?). I've also seen "Oceania" used.

Depends on your definition of a continent I guess ... seems to be a few definitions..... if it's a LARGE land mass, Fiji doesn't qualify (sorry Fiji). eNZed is Godzone anwyay, so doesn't need to be classified as anything else...besides, who'd want to belong to Austral-anything :-) ...

That's infinitely more preferable than being lumped together in "the America's"....
