connecting two gbpvr based systems?

Hey if I build another computer for my living room TV, And put gbpvr on it, is there anyway to access the shows on this computer and vice versa?
Actually I don't just mean the shows, but also the databases. I'm just curious, because I still got all this hardware laying around, including a software based card that works just fine, but I was wondering if there was anyway to access the recorded shows on this computer, including the comskip and tvguide stuff :S, I know I could just open up access to the drive I store the videos on and map a network drive, however that would only help me with the video player, not the recordings screen stuff.
Anyway to do this?

have a look for gbpv running as a client - there should be a heap of doco on it.

It's an option in the "second" copy of gbpvr.

actually a better way would be to setup totally seperate systems, but use a common recordings storage mapping...

say, if you use drive R: as recording drive on both systems, then you can just export/import the recordings database to eachother and the paths would be correct on both machines..
you could do it with just a batch file on both machines and winxp's Task Scheduler..

in the batch, do a gbpvr.exe -export, rename that file, then copy the other machine's dump file to current dir and import it...
and basically do the same on the other machine, and schedule them for different times.. [actually schedule it on machine 1,then 2, then 1 again to work right..]

the recording dump is automatically generated at epg update time,so you could just import eachother's after that and skip the -export part..
[as far as i know, the -import file name can't be changed, it always is recording-dump.xml, wish it were specifyable on command line..!]
