Comskip issues

I searched for a bit but could not find the specific issue that I was having. I have GB-PVR 99.12 running great and have had not problems with scheduled recordings or live tv in months. I love it. I downloaded the comskip utility from the wiki link version 79.95. After copying the .exe file and .ini file to the gbpvr directory and scheduling a recording to test the recording started but the recording service showed that it was in the recording status several hours later and the file size was only about 6kb and the show ends up not recording and I have to stop and restart the recording service. I'm viewing ATSC content so I don't know if that will make a difference. I'm recording files in the dvr-ms format.

I have never heard about comskip preventing GBPVR from recording.
When you disable comskip, does the recording succeed?
Do NOT run comskip in paralel to a recording in dvr-ms. Comskip will exit when it reaches the and of the recording and it will not wait till the recording is finished

When I disable comskip then I can record shows with no problem. I'm going to fool around with it again later when I have more time.
