if live tv looks good via wintv2000 but in live TV in GBPVR seems to have trails and terrible colour, where should I be looking to change settings? (avi's etc play ok)

I have tried changing the VM9 setting to any available with no joy...

appreciate any pointers....thanks

you would want to look at your video decoder's settings, same tab as where you change the renderer

change it from system default to the mpeg decoder that you wish to use.

I think wintv uses the supplied intervideo decoder to try setting it to that.

did you try overlay in the gbpvr config?

tried both - overlay changes really seemed to change window size was all (if i remember rightly)

as for the decoder settings, InterVideo is the default which again doesn't seem to make much difference...
