Just tried it again. Fired off a recording by selecting the programme in the EPG (Quick Record). Then after about 10 minutes cancelled the recording and looked in the Recordings folder - not there.

Exited pvrx2 and started it again. Went into Recordings and it was there.

I think I am using the SQL Lite database since I did a completely new installation which should have upgraded or replaced the Access database

It will reload the recording list from the database any time you click the 'ready/whats new/pending/recurring/conflicts' buttons in the Recordings screen.

Does clicking on these buttons to change the view cause the recording to appear? If not then reproduce the problem, and zip and attach the logs, and I'll take a look.

Hi Sub

OK tried the following. Recorded a show. Show ended. Checked Recordings and it wasn't there. Selected Whats New and it was there. Then went back to Recordings and it now showed up. Seems like selecting Whats New caused the database to be refreshed. But in the earlier version of gbpvr I never had to do this to cause the Recordings screen to update.

This is probably because going back to the recordings screen is not enough to cause it to reload the list. I'll make it do this for next release.

That would be great. In the interim I can tell my wife what to do to see her recordings :-)

I have the same problem. The new recordings aren't showing up when I go to the recording menu. If I go into the whats new menu, they are listed. When I return to the main recording menu, they now show up.

See earlier in this thread. Sub notes the problem and has a target to fix it for the next release
