I thought I was . I went through the epg.. changed channels etc.. and went to config and tried to look at tuner two

Ok heres the next lot.. here I started a recording .. HDD went actively.... then tried viewing another show fm the guisde.. options offered were dont watch and watch prog being recorded .. obviously not seeing second tuner..
hope something is more visible this time

Actually this isnt a sign that its not seeing the second tuner. Infact this typically means that there is no other unused capture source that has the requested channel, so hasnt even bothered trying to talk to that hardware.

Typical reasons you'd get this with two capture sources defined are:

1) the channel requested is only available on one of the two capture sources (look each of the capture source channel list to make sure you see the channels, and make sure it is enabled)

2) or the two capture sources are defined as using the same physical tuner, for example having setup two capture sources for the same device and device #. When you do this it knows they're same piece of hardware, and its already in use, so decides it is 'unavailable'.

Ah.... the fulll uninstall and reinstall... does wonders..

bit sad I had to do it, but now have two tuners are working in harmony and the world is again good..
now to get those plugins sorted again.. might be time to take an image. :o

think theres a high possibility the dvico might end up on ebay though..
