Definitely getting the file name correct because I cut and paste it from BDA Mux Checker and when I renamed the file BDA Mux Checker could not determine the mux's version, renamed back and it can.

Could something else be continually re-registering the broken Cyberlink mux, or do I just have a corrupt Windows registry? regsvr32 /u'ing the second Cyberlink mux listed by BDA Mux Checker causes it to disappear from the list as expected.

I need to go off and read about regsvr32 and Windows codec handling in general. I have spent days trying to get streaming working; if I'd only studied the GB-PVR logs in a bit more detail I would have realised it wasn't finding the Cyberlink mux even though BDA Mux Checker reported it as being installed. Also, the lack of the .mpg extension on recorded files was another big clue that the Micro$oft mux was being used; I'm really annoyed with myself now.

Great - glad you got it sorted.
