live preview stutering in pvrx2 ok in gbpvr

using gbpvr 1.08 gbpvr is fine with live preview however if i use pvrx2 have to dissable live preview or sound gradually distorts and picture stutters and eventually freezes have tried the windowsxp-kb919071 hot fix. allso tried upgrading to 1.16 but in pv rx2 system crawlled and cpu was over 60% and

Are you using the NVIDIA Purevideo codec? I found this happened a lot with the PV codec, so I switched to the Cybervideo PowerDVD 6.5 codecs. Playback was much smoother, and the sound hasn't stuttered to the point of freezing since the change.
