Authenticate Error?

I'm getting a weird error when I try to watch a recording using PVRX2. The screen goes black and I get a box in the task bar labeled Authenticate Error and a box on the screen saying that 'Authentication failed at decoder' with an OK button (I hate those things...no, dammit, it's not OK :mad: ). Clicking OK closes the box and the recording plays fine from there. What the hell is it trying to authenticate? I'm running 1.0.16 on the second monitor (an LCD TV) using the Purevideo decoder. The recordings were made via a 150MCE card from my digital cable box over the svideo connection. OS is XP Pro/SP2. I didn't find anything in the forum. Anyone have any ideas? Hopefully it's something stoopid that I'm overlooking.

I've never seen anything like that. Its not a PVRX2 generated message. It sounds like something your decoder is generating.

Try a different decoder.
