My system suffers from jerky playback, jeryky live tv, and also jerky animations in the new front end after coming back from standby.

I have always had this problem, its not new to 1.016, Ive just never posted about it as a full system restart fixes the problem.

It is still a little annoying though so I was wondering if anyone could suggest anything?

The system is absolutly fine from a fresh boot, perfect playback, nice smooth animations etc, but performance seems to deteriate after a few days of use and a reboot is required.

Hey,

I was wondering if you found a fix for this issue? I am also having the same problem after coming out of standy. The main menu is considerable slower than usual. Any thoughts?

I remember having read a thread before on this topic. I'm not sure whether it was resolved, but try locating it with the search function or google.

I haven't had any luck finding a fix to this question. Does anyone have any ideas?

I could find this thread:

http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=231720

There is a post (by Torque) which is about a jerky animated menu because of EPG updates. It would go away eventually. Is your jerkiness permanently?

In the same thread there is also another mention of jerky menu's for an nVidia card that did no go away (post by frankmcg). Like yours it is related to standby/hibernate. Unfortunately, there's no resolution in the thread.

Is your processor idle when the jerkiness happens?
