Hauppauge 45 Button remote oddness

Hello All,

Have been busy setting up a new system, running 1.0.16. I have set up to use a Hauppauge 45 button remote. In the config program I have clicked "Fix Hauppauge Remote settings (45 button remote)" and the remote control type is set to "Default (Hauppauge)".

In PVRX2, the remote behaves pretty much as expected, except during playback, when the Fast Forward/Rewind buttons do not work.

Checking the PVRX2 log, I get the error message: (log files attached)

"VERBOSE [1] No key mapping found for: SHIFTKEY"
"VERBOSE [1] Rewind" or "VERBOSE [1] Fast Forward".

I have checked the Irremote.ini file, and the entries for the desired keys are FASTFWD={ctrl}F and REWIND={ctrl}D.

Any clues on how to fix this problem anyone?

Try setting it to Mce remote , Thats what i did and everything works fine now on my Hauppage 45 button

I did try that after reading your post, however it does not solve the problem for me unfortunately.

Try it with a different file type ie avi instead of mpeg 2 ,have you checked the short skip insted of ff in the config?
Thats all i can think off
