Casperse

using 0.96.12 need the tv-out funct. on the 350 card if I upgrade I think that will stop working?.....sql-lite funct is not a option them? correct?

I would like to know the latest version you have that support the 350 TV output...running it to a Nicam stereo TV modulator so every TV in the house hold can watch GB-pVR (-;

You could try stopping all GB-PVR software, then try running JetComp.exe in the gbpvr directory. It'll attempt to compact the database.

This ever growing behaviour of MDB files was one of the reasons we moved to the new SQLite database in later releases.

To be honest, I couldnt tell you. The last time I tested the PVR350 TV out was version 0.91 or something like that. Some users have indicated it is still working for them with the new 1.0.16 release when they run GBPVR.exe. It definitely doesnt work with the new PVRX2.exe user interface though.

So what can I do about a gbpvr.db3 file that has grown to over 15GB. I don't know much about SQLite so I don't know how to compact it.

I just read a thread from over a year ago about the MDB database growing if there was a constant connection that kept the database open. Could this be the problem with the db3 file also? My MVP is always on. Would that cause the database to continually grow?
