Machine won't wake up (read the survival)

I'm sure there must be recordings in the database for these other times. If you want to zip and attach your database, I'm happy to take a look for you.

I replaced gbpvr.db3 with empty and imported my recordings and now all is well with the 'asking windows to be awake' logs. I believe the erroneous entries were recordings I had already cancelled, for one of my season recurring recordings.
Anyway back to the OT - my PC still does not wake from hibernate to record.

As long as it shows the right times in the log, and you have the patch applied from the v1.0.16 survival guide, then it should be waking. Its worked for everyone else.

Actually it seems very random - I set two recordings tonight from the EPG - the first one it did not wake for, the second it did.
I cannot see any pattern or reason.
The first hibernation was using my remote, using RED={run(rundll32.exe powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState)}
The second hibernation was using START - SHUT DOWN - SHIFT - HIBERNATE.
But both ways results in Windows hibernating...

I seem to remember there was another post saying not to do this. Something about SetSuspendState causing it to ignore wake events.

You are right Sub - I googled "SetSuspendState wake" and got many posts from people reporting the same thing - hibernate from keyboard & the PC does wake for scheduled events, but use SetSuspendState and it does not.

The only reason I was using SetSuspendState is because of the known issue for some users of PVRX2 being locked-up after waking from hibernate.
So I have gone full-circle now and hope the next release solves this issue.
