Can you enable log flushing in the config app, then hit ok to apply that setting, then restart the config app and try to do a channel scan on the skystar 2 device again, then zip and attach those two logs again?

P-Ray Wrote:3.) i can`t get the technisat Skystar 2 operational on my server. the technotrend 3200 is working fine, but the skystar can`t be found when i try to start a channel scan.

I had a Technisat 3200 (I think) that worked fine on one computer but nothing other than device manager would see it on another computer. The computer it worked well with listed it under sounds/other devices or whatever, while the non-working computer kept it listed under network adapter. I've read it's common for it to be under network adapters since it has a network chip or something on it. That second computer could also use it to connect to the internet when I disabled the onboard LAN.

Pretty sure when I tried it with Media Portal it was seeing it as a Skystar2. I think GBPVR saw it for what it actually was. It worked fine with either program on the one computer.

Just thought I'd mention the device manager part. Was very weird. It would say it might already be in use. Since the computer it didn't work on was my actual new HTPC, I finally gave up and got a different brand card.
I bet Michael Bay uses GBPVR because it's awesome:

ah, its just the device number that is wrong. Both devices need to be #1. You only increment this number if you have multiple devices using the same drivers.
