GBPVRRecordingS and PVRX2.exe runing 100% swapping over

With 1 MVP live (2 servers running only 1 MVP logged in) one of the PVRX2.exe programs hits 50-70% CPU, not watching anything on the MVP its just on a menu, there are NO plugins checked (there installed but not running).

EWA b66 is installed though, is this normal, this seems really high just to show a menu on the MVP hardware.

If i power down the MVP via the green power button on the remote then the PVRX2.exe drops to almost 0, an expect speed...

ideas?

Interesting this, i did a repair to .NET v2, which then wanted a restart, i then did a Windows update which had a security update for .NET v2 as well.

Now PVRX2.exe stays at 50% when i turn the MVP on (with the remote green button) for 2 min, then it settles back to about 2-5% no matter what i do on (even looking at stuff like the Webcam 2 plugin or the weather plug in.

So what is PVRX2 doing in the first 2 mins when it sees an MVP?

Also i will add, when i was powering the MVP down (green button on the remote) i was seing DW20.exe eating 50% CPU, this is Doctor Watson crash bug checking, after the above repair and updates this has stopped doing that.

I was NOT getting any on screen crashes, i just saw the process running which would stop after a few minutes.

Looks like a .NET2 repair might be a good idea and Windows update when installing v1.x

I have seen this mentioned as a fix before when using other Microsoft interactive stuff like .ASP with .NET so they integrate properly.

Loading your TV listings. The number of channels you have, and the number of day's listings, and the speed of your machine, all add up to how long this lasts.

This can happen if you if you try to stop it before the listings have finished loading in the background.
