I have the EPIA M10000 1GHZ with TV out, 512MB ram, PVR150, 250GB Drive. This is a dedicated PVR only. I have all installed and am running pvrx2. I cannot view Live Tv or play back recorded video without stutter and CPU going to 100%.

I can record fine. I can play those recordings back in MediaPlayer9 and they play back just fine but they do not play under gbpvr or pvrx2 without stutter.

I installed the .ax files mv..something that I read about in another thread but that didn't help.

I am so close to closing the lid on this project but I could start over with a new mother board (and larger case) if I have to. Thanks.

Sorry but the CPU in the M10000 is way below the minimum spec, as is it's on board video card. You might be able to get by with the old GBPVR.exe user interface and the Overlay video renderer, but it is unlikely you'll get PVRX2 working on it.

Here is what I did last night. I found a cd with powerdvd and a password for full install, but it was version 4.0. I installed that and changed my video decoder to cyberlink.. now I can watch the recorded video using pvrx2 but I still can't watch live tv. I will look at a better motherboard.... Thanks.

The difference might be that when watching LiveTV, GBPVR needs to simultaneously record to a file on the disk, and playback that file.
Maybe it's a harddrive issue?
Can you do timeshifting with the original Hauppauge WinTV application?

have you tried cahnging the live preview selection in the last tab
either tick encoder pass through or what ever the other selections are sometimes just getting the right combination in there makes it work
you could also try different decoders it may work
