I just installed version 1.0.16. I was able to get the capture source and EPG set up with no problem. But when I start GBPVR the window is just blank. It's transparent actually, showing what is on my desktop inside the frame of the window.

I read the thread about NVidia video card problems. I tried updating my drivers with the drivers from the link, but that driver install says my video card isn't applicable. The computer has an NVidia RIVA TNT video card. I will try to find updated drivers now, and I'll follow this post up with the results.

I also do not have any additional plugins. I installed GBPVR, then set up yapi2xml, and that's it.

I've restarted several times, but it hasn't helped. I'm out of ideas right now. My logs are attached. Can anyone give me some guidance?

Thanks for your time!

I downloaded the most recent drivers I could find from NVidia's site, installed them, and rebooted. It didn't help though, I still have the transparent window. Can anyone offer some ideas?

Thanks again!
Aaron

P.S. I can post a screen shot if that will help. Just let me know.

What skin are you using? I found using an old skin caused the background to show through.

Sorry, but there is a good chance your nvidia riva TNT is powerful enough to run the PVRX2.exe user interface. You should be able to run the old GBPVR.exe user interface.

I was using the default skin. I downloaded the "Community" skin that was in the 1.0.16 section in the Skin Wiki, but still have the same problem.

Sub, does that mean I have to use one of the 0.xx.yy versions instead of 1.xx.yy? I tried both the GBPVR.exe and PVRX2.exe and they both did the same thing.

Try setting the video renderer to something other than 'VMR9 Custom' or 'VMR9 Fullscreen Exclusive' then try GBPVR.exe again.

Yes, that worked! Thank you Sub! I set it to "Overlay Manager" and it's displaying correctly now. I only use this particular installation to record things, not to play anything, so this setting will be just fine.

Thanks so much for all your help!
