Channel tuning bug - know cause, need fix

Yes, I tried many combinations of audio/video renderer. I even tried installing more to try others - no luck. This is the 1st version that supports QAM tuning for the HVR-1800 (since there was a bug in the last version that prevented Qam from working for HVR-1800). This bug may be only for HVR-1800 users. Maybe you could look over the fix that you implemented in this version to get it to work. Maybe you missed something.

That was a really minor changed (commented out one line of source code). In past I'd left in some development code which hardcoded the name of a filter to the name HVR1600 filter. After commenting out that line, then it was able to work with the HVR1800 and other cards.
