Howdy

Not really sure what is going on here, but I am having a problem with channel mismatches.

I have a MCE500 and the current version installed on a fully rebuilt machine.

The issue is this:

When I watch live TV, I can channel change and the channels are correct and in the correct order.

When I record, however, the channels are wrong (NZ, TV2&TV3 are switched).

The other issue is that if I am recording two channels at once, one works and the other fails, even though it says "pending" in the Recording/Pending menu.

TV1 = 2
TV2 = 4
TV3 = 7
C4 = 9

I have the above set up on my MCE500, and have set Tuner 1 to be the tuner with the Radio.

Any thoughts?

Hmm

Did some more testing.

It appears that my PVR thinks there is only one tuner.

When I record a channel, then move to another channel and record that one for the same timeslot, my PVR stops recording the first channel and switches to the other channel, but keeps the ORIGINAL channels refernce.

Will do some more playing.

Have you set the device numbers correctly on your two capture sources? One should be set to device #1, the other to device #2.

This makes me think your second capture source has the correct channel numbers list in it's channel list, but the first one doesnt.

If you reproduce the problem then zip and attach your logs then I'll take a look.

Fixed

The cahnnel numbers were all correct. When I set up the Tuners, I forgot to choose seperate Board Numbers. Both tuners were set to use Device One...

All sorted now, cheers
