My HDHomeRun went up in smoke, so while it's off for repair, I would rather just disable it in config. Then when the new one arrives, I can re-enable it without having to rescan all the channels, setup EPG, etc.

Is there a way to disable a tuner in the config app?

I do not know if you can disable the tuner but I think you can just disable all the channels on it so that it is not used.

backup the db and delete the channel source?? Reinstate it once your tuner is fixed.

Just make sure you export/import your recording back into the backed up db when you reinstate it. Kind of like using a sledgehammer on a mosquito but easier than disabling 300 channels.

or you could figure out the sql to disable the channels in the db directly..I think there's a use 1 or 0 inthe source_channel_mapping table.

Thanks, you are making my life even more difficult than before. Big Grin Trust me it will faster for me to remove 280 channels manually , than do a research and try to figure out what i did wrong after words. LOLOLOLOL. I have a feeling, that i need to modify a listing saved on CTlising's website. this way on complease reload i'll get back only listings that i need. I'll play with it tonight. Please let me know if i'm wrong.

No I wasn't offended, just some friendly advice, always, always, backup, backup and backup again.
You wouldn't believe how many times I've done something and had to go back to a back up - of gbpvr or of the whole system. And since I know my restores work, I don't mind taking some risks.
