Hi,
Yesterday I had some mpeg-cutting to do. So I fired up nanoPEG (it was included with the PVR350, and have used it up till now, without too much pain  [Image: biggrin.gif] ). The recent recordings can be opened with nanopeg, but I cannot scroll through them. So cutting a file has become virtually impossible with nanopeg.

Fortunately, I had cutterman and PVAStrumento on my pvr-machine and they worked well. I used to get quite some errors when demuxing with PVAStrumento, but with the two files I cut yesterday none appeared.

Has anything changed with the fileformat?

Greetz,

I tried to use nanopeg for the first time the other day and it was the most frustrating experiences of my life. I also noticed that I couldnt select where to cut very well, scrolling didnt work. As it was the first time I had used the program I wasnt aware that it used to work. After spending 10 minutes trying to cut out one commercial I gave up.
I finally broke down and bought VideoReDo, kind of pricey at 50 bucks but worth it in my opinion. I tried cutterman but demuxing was an extra step that I didnt want to do, with VideoReDo its one easy step.

I think I read somewhere that gbpvr uses VBR now... could it be nanoPeg dislikes that?
I'm not always right

Yes, it does use VBR by default now, but it can be set back to CBR if required.
