Hi,
I'm a new user and have a few questions. Firstly I should say that I'm very impressed with the software, well done all the developers and thank you. The recording service in particular is very impressive - set the recording up, close the main window, and leave the recording service running to handle everything in the background --sweet.
A few questions about PVRX2, which I understand is for higher powered PCs which mine definately is. Using UK Freeview.
1) When in Live TV, Ctrl-G is supposed to bring up a mini-guide according to the wiki doc keyboard shortcuts Live TV section (linked below) - but pressing Ctrl-G in Live TV has no effect at all when I press it.

2) Apart for the mini-guide in question 1) is there any way to bring up an available channels list to facilitate changing to a specific channel quickly (I have no remote)? I know I can enter a numeric chanel number, but my problem is that all the channel numbers on GB-PVR are different from my Freeview TV's and remembering which channel has which number is a nightmare. At the moment I switch to the TV Guide, click in a channel, and then click 'Watch', but it would be nice if I could just do this quickly in Live TV mode. Perhaps there is a plug-in to achieve this? Note: Pressing the '+' and '-' buttons to move the channel up and down just takes too long with 40+ channels.
3) The EPG (using 'DVB EPG Broadcast') never gets filled fully, some channels do, some don't. This even seems to include channels which have a 2nd audio channel. EG. BBC1 (normal) has all empty EPG fields, while BBC1 (2nd audio) gets filled correctly. I've tried using the 'System' menu's 'update EPG' facility several times but never get a fully filled in EPG listing (I'm not even talking about days ahead, just 'today'). Any ideas? There is a 'TV Listings' plug-in, would I be better off using that?
4) The SCAN-1.cache file shows all my TV channels. If I wish to change the channel order can I just move each entry's line to the position I want it in? EG. The channel on line 1 of the SCAN-1.cache file will become channel 01 when using PVRX2, the channel on line 2 will become channel 02 and so on?
5) When setting a recording up can I make the 'steps' less large than 10 minutes for the start and end time? I'd like this to be in increments of 1 minute instead.
Many thanks everyone, and the developers deserve a big round of applause. Regards, etc., etc.,
