Hauppauge remote without IR.exe?

I can get everything that brbjr's posted to work with a few exceptions. When I use the "start on second monitor" option from the config screen, it does not work. Does anyone have a suggestion to get it to work when using it on a second monitor?

I can't get that .ini to work. Using PVR-350 with new 45 button remote, and using latest version of IR.exe. In fact, none of the extended commands are working for me.

I got remote troubles with GBPVR...Im using the 45 button remote but it keeps saying: "Unable to load hcwIRblast.dll"...

From what you guys are saying is there is an option to be able to use the remote without the IR software, now I cannot find that anywhere in the config for GBPVR...

Any help please???

Looks like you've configured your capture sources to use the 'Hauppauge IR Blaster' as the channel changer, but dont actually have the Hauppauge IR Blaster, or didnt install the drivers for it. This is nothing to do with the remote control. The IR Blaster is used for controlling an external set top box.

put that section in the [default] section instead of [GB-PVR] section.

Hansi's list has worked very well for me. I've discovered that you can leave the window className blank and it will still work, like this:

0={findwnd(,GB-PVR)}{SendMsg(32771,192,0)}

Is there any chance of adding codes for the following commands?

TV
VIDEOS
MUSIC
PICTURES
RADIO
TEXT

Right now, I am just switching focus to GB-PVR and running the corresponding keyboard command for these buttons.

I have the Hauppauge 250 card with the 45 Button remote
When I upgraded to the latest GBPVR release 99.5 the remote stopped working.

I changed the batteries checked the cord, no control. So I removed the IR program and set direct access for Hauppauge from GBPVR and voila it worked?

what are the green, yellow and red supposed to do? Blue?

I do not see any action when pressed. I also do not see any funtion for the tv, pictures, video, or radio buttons. can these be used for shorcuts to the respective menu button within gbpvr?

I do not have a button labled fullscreen on my remote, what is this? Sounds like what i may need to minimize?

I usually use gbpvr (actually still expirimenting) in full screen mode via the stock nvidia video card svid out. I am not able to minimize gbpvr using keyboard alt-tab (i see the sys tray flash but wont stick).

I have successfully added the launch gbpvr.exe to the green power button thanks to previous post(thanks fuzzweed!). I will be happy to leave gbpvr running i would just like to be able to minimize then maximize when necessary. Any help is greatly appreciated. GREAT PROGRAM!!
