Voice sync issue with Playback but NOT live TV

I am using a late Monogram AAC codec (ver 0.9.3.0, not sure if it's the very latest).
Anyway for live TV, for me, it works fine.

But on playback my voice goes out of sync pretty darn quickly.

So this is the opposite way around to the sync issues in thread "H.264 Voice sync issues Using Monogram AAC" (http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=33799 )

In this thread it says somewhere that a different codec is used for playback to avoid the Monogram AAC. Is there a way of actually forcing the Monogram one to be used for playback ?

Hi,

Your problem is the same as the one in the other thread. Live TV is fine, the sync issues only happen when playing back recordings.

As far as I can see there is no reason to force monogram to be used, it's already being used and that's the problem. Using the alternate codec (PowerDVD) for playback of recordings fixes the sync problem.
