While I'm waiting for my tuner card to arrive, I installed and run MVP wired to my router. So far no problems, I could watch pictures or listen MP3s of my TV
After installing last version of BGPVR (config number of servers to 1), stopping services for MVP and allowing Firewall to run GBPVR, MVP keeps rebooting (find my PC name and IP then can't recognize server flash message before reboots)
Tried rebooting PC and MVP, same results.
Any suggestion please?

First be sure both hauppauge services are not running on your server, only the GBPVR recording service.

Second, once the server is ready, be sure to UNPLUG the power from MVP, and then plug it back in.
AMD Duron 1600 / 640MB / 80GB+200GB
Hauppauge PVR-150MCE & 3 X MediaMVP (D3A)
Girder & USB-UIRT -> Samsung SIR-T150 Digital Receiver
Girder & USB-UIRT -> ChannelMaster 9521 antenna rotator
UbuStream + CommunitySkin
100% OTA *no cable, no satellite*

Yes hauppauge services were turned to manual and I double checked task manager, there is no MVP services running
Now, after replug MVP there is message ..No streaming servers found!..., there is no automatic reboot anymore.
I checked all connections and rebooted router, PC, and MVP. This time I got initial screen only, were "Contacting MediaMVP Bootserver..." message still flashing.

Network is working normally with other computer and IPphone.

One more thing, GBPVR doesn't start automatically on server, however PVRTray.exe shows up at processes Task Manager (no other GBPVR service).
When I run manually PVRTray.exe it appears on tray. When using Restart recording services, I'm back to the state on my post 1.

Did you allow PVRX2.exe to run aswell in the firewall? By default that's the program being run as mvp-server.
AMD Athlon 64 3000, HDD: 80, 120, 200 GB, Hauppauge 350 + 150, MVP, Asus 6000L Laptop client, Asus X50sl client,
Fritz!box 7140 modem/router, GBPVR 1.3.7.

Yes, PVRX2.exe is the only one allowed manually in the XP home firewall. BTW, there is no other firewall on my server.

Zip and upload your log files after unplugging and then plugging in your MVP.

I remember something similar http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...ac+address but it doesn't say how it was resolved. Like sub said it looks like a .net error and it is likely related to WMI but that is about all I can help with.

Sorry.

Thank you Martin, I did exactly what Marco suggested on post 15 using the link you pointed, it worked!
Fun starts here, my tuner card arrived, I'm ready to PVR.
Thanks again guys
