Can you post a new set of logs with the audio renderer reset to 'system default'? Also try setting the audio decoder to something other than the 'ffdshow Audio Decoder' option you currently have selected - it seems to be refusing to hook up, which causing a second audio decoder to be pulled in.

here it is, maybe it's a faulty card? I'm assuming the channel number will be the same as the PVR150 using the same signal? 316 on Waiatarua

here's some progress - my wife was surfing and I came in to see her watching prime !! I tried recording and it seemed to work fine to start with, then later, same issues with selecting channel 9 locking pvrx2. At least I know the tuner should be ok - also I hadn't yet given any thougt about the fact that it also has 2 digitals that may be being used already. I'm off for a few days verseas, but will have a good look when I get back.

Hey Sub, all works pretty well now with audio decoder set to default and renderer set to my USB DAC (I get sound quality issues with renderer set to default).
I guess the issues I was having were that the analogue decoder would only be available when neither of the two digital tuners were in use. I never thought of this when I was configuring it. I have found I need three digital tuners to keep the family happy, but with two of them being on the HVR2200 this is bottlenecking me. I will chuck a couple of USB tuners on in the meantime to add to the HVR1100 already in there, to decrease the chances of prime being unavailable. Boy it will be a big step forward when prime finally moves to freeview

Could you just confirm that this is the case - that HVR2200 will either function in digi or analogue but not both at the same time?

OK, great.

This device has two tuners, each that can be used for either DVB-T or analog.

OK then, that sounds promising, can I then set up two analogue devices #1 and #2
Thanks very much, hopefully that's me done for a long time, I will throw the nova-t stick back in for good measure and set order so HVR2200 is last, that way I have at least two tuners available before the 2200 is called in.

I have to say thanks again, it's the most used software in the house, and I've got a very happy family, so I've kicked the tin again, my pleasure & I'll make it a regular thing.

In case I wasnt clear, let me say it another way. The HVR2200 can do two captures at a time. Each of those captures can be doing either analog or digital. You cant do two digital + two analog recordings all at the same time - that would require four tuners.
