Suggestion for new forum - "My Setup"

I suggest there could be a new forum in which people can describe their GB-PVT setups, such as their use of:

1) hardware (CPU, chipset, video, remote, etc)
2) codecs
3) plugins
4) anything else

and why they chose those things, the plusses and minuses of their choices, and what they hope to accomplish/change in the future.

I think it would be very interesting to bring all those things together in a single forum, and would be particularly useful for newbies to see what other people are doing with GB-PVR, and the different approaches to get the ultimate home PVR system.

Anyone agree?

There was a thread started in the general discussion forum that did this. The problem is that the combinations are endless, especially since GBPVR is used multinationally and also since different decoders perform differently on didfferent systems.

Yes I know the combinations are endless, but (imho) it's still useful to see how people are using it, and on what systems. As a new arrival here I've seen lots of posts in many threads in several forums that cover some or all of that, and I keep thinking it would be helpful if there was a single home for them going forward (in most cases anyway).

I made that thread a "sticky" so it will be easier to find, since every so often we get similar requests or posts.
