I have both of these configured in the system and they work fine if there is only one of them in the PC. Put both of them in and set the tuning everything ok. Try recording on one and watching the other and the recording fails creating 0 byte files (it tries twice) In fact it seems to be that the default tuner for recrding fails each time regardless of if I try watching another channel or a second recording, second recording works fine.

GBPVR 1.2.13 Vista Premium
HVR 4000 dvb/s dvb/t analog
hvr 1700 dvb/t (having trouble getting analog going any help on this would be great to)

Had trouble before when just using the HVR4000, recording dvb/t and try to watch DVB/s channel by mistake it killed the recording. It still does this maybe related?

Logs attached showing recording start (dvb/t) watch channel (dvb/T) stop and stop recording.

Any help much appreciated

Can you repeat this and repost the logs, but this time also include GBPVRRecordingService.exe-native.log?

HI Sub,
Problem solved I looked at the recording service log matching the set that i submitted and looked through and found that it was dumping out after connecting to the mux so i changed the mux from fullTS to cyberlink, having remebered that I had recently changed this to see if it made a difference to the skip and negative timing issue that a few of us seem to be having. This fixed my problem. Would still appreciate some help getting HVR1700 analog going if anybody has managed this.

Thanks for your help Sub.
If i can get this skip problem sorted and the analogue going then GBPVR will have achieved HTPC perfection for me (bluray playback in GBPVR anyone?)

Cheers

The 1.2.13 build had a bug that could cause the "full ts" mux option to bomb out. There was a patch posted here somewhere to correct this. That said, its unlikely anyone would use the 'Full TS' option for recording - you'd end up with massive files and quickly fill your hard drive. This is more of a debug mux option for generating files for me to analyse problems.

I'm not famililar with the HVR-1700. Does it have a hardware MPEG2 encoder? Can you run filtercheck.exe from the gbpvr directory, then zip and attach the filtercheck.log that gets created?

I was just trying the full ts mux to see if it would fix some of the problems with skipping and recording lengths seeing if the problems were a problem with the mux or something else. Doesnt really matter if its is broken as I have no intention of using the huge files it would create.

Hvr-1700 has hardware mpeg, filter log attached. 1700 is essentially single tuner version of 2200 and as nobody has any stock of the 2200 i bought this instead as I already had the hvr4000 in the system.
thanks for your help

Cheers

Have you tried this patch for the HVR2200? http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=2...stcount=15

My PVR-150 just went dead, and since my cable company now distributes all channels both analog and in DVB-T, I wanted to get the HVR-1700 which seems to be the most cost-effective dual card here in Denmark.
Therefore I was curious, if anyone has successfully used the HVR-1700 with both analog and DVB-T in GB-PVR?

Thanks a lot
