I just purchased and installed a new Technisat Skystar2 DVB-S PCI card along with the new BDA driver from there web site. The problem is GBPVR detects the card but when I do a scan I get no signal or channels. I have updated the transponder ini files but still nothing. I am located in North America, if anyone could help me out I would be thankful.

Do ascan then zip and attach the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

thank, but I figured out that would not scan because it does not support a switch.

It is the truth that diseqs does not work with SkyStar2? After all in other programs diseqs works and with BDA and WDM drivers.
While I use a sheaf progdvb > dvbsbridge> gbpvr, but it would be desirable that diseqs it was supported without foreign programs.

PS: I Apologize for bad English, I write through the translator Smile

True, there is no diseqc support for SkyStar2 devices. Its not covered by the BDA spec so each manufacturer implements it a different way. I have no idea how Technisat implement diseqc support in their BDA drivers. I also dont have any of their devices, so have never tested anything on this type of card.

Other manufacturers (Hauppauge/FireDTV/Twinhan) have supplied sample cards and information to allow me to implement diseqc support. Unfortunately Technisat havnt. Sorry.

Let us hope that in the near future, these impact will be solved.
Thank you for the program - GB-PVR, is the best that I tried for Windows.
